Bill DeFeo Aston Township Manager Bill DeFeo, a Philadelphia native, is the Aston Township Manager. He graduated from St. Joseph Prep and has an MBA from Drexel University, BS in Accounting from Drexel University and a Certificate from the University of Virginia. Bill has been an active member of the Aston Community since 1983 serving in many organizations as a coach and volunteer while he and his wife Maria raised three children. Bill has been a board member in the ABA for 20+ years and has been the Treasurer the last 12 years. His hobbies include Singing, Acting, Wildwood & Cape May, Baseball, Christmas Collectibles and his Grandchildren. |
Judi Stanaitis Assistant Vice President of Corporate Relations For two decades, Judi Stanaitis has been a catalyst for growth at Neumann University, cultivating partnerships and launching innovative programs from her seat on the Advancement team. As Membership Chair of the Aston Business Association, she now channels her seasoned expertise in relationship‑building, fundraising, program development, and operations into strengthening ties between the University and the wider business community. Judi believes the ABA is a cornerstone of the township—a vital force for creating the vibrant, welcoming community where families want to live and where the next generation can learn, thrive, and lead. |
Ron Temple Director Founded B.E.T Associates LLC. Founded Petsense LLC PetKraze is a partnership of three individuals with a combined 35+ years experience in different facets of the pet industry. Ron Temple, most recently Chief Operations Officer, for a local Pet Supply chain; has combined his talents to create a truly pleasurable pet shopping experience. PetKraze Pet Foods & Supplies opened our first store in the Dutton Mill Shopping Center at the intersection of Dutton Mill & Pennell Roads (Rt 452) in Aston, PA on April 7, 2007. We followed up 2 weeks later with a second store located in West Chester in the Westtown Village Shopping Center at the corner of routes 202 & 926 (right next to Acme). Then, following a brief respite, we opened our third location in Chadds Ford on Route 202 North and Smithbridge Road (next to Brusters). I joined the ABA in 2009, becoming a board member in 2010. I was named Business Person of the Year in 2013 and served two terms as President from 2014-2016. Currently, I serve as Vice President, continuing to contribute to the local community. |

Maggie Berry Neighbors Helping Neighbors Dream Stitches Maggie is the coordinator for the Neighbors Helping Neighbors community outreach program. Neighbors Helping Neighbors has been setup to give temporary relief to families in Aston Township that have little or no means of support. The families we currently help, have fallen on tough times and may be out of work due to injuries, or have lost their jobs due to downsizing, but are currently pursuing employment. Our goal is to help people during their time of job searching to minimize their stress. Daisy Bopela Director, Member Service for Sun East FCU Daisy has worked as a Director of Sun East Federal Credit Union for over 2 years, managing and supporting all the branches in Aston, Delco, and Delaware community. She joined the ABA in 2024 and has been active board member and proud participate in the Aston community. She finds her biggest inspiration in supporting the community in which she works and enjoys making a difference every day. |
Maryann Bullen Chairwoman of Aston Community Day Maryann is a lifelong Delaware County resident and a dedicated community leader with a heart for service. A proud Sun Valley High School graduate and longtime Aston Township resident, she currently serves as a lector and hospitality committee member at St. Joseph Church, where she also cares for liturgical linens and serves on both the pastoral council and Christmas Bazaar committee. Bullen is best known locally as the chairwoman of the Aston Community Day Committee, organizing the township’s largest and most beloved annual events. She also served on the Aston Township Vision Plan and Memorial Garden committees—an especially meaningful role in honor of her late husband, a Vietnam veteran. In addition, Bullen is a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of Post #926, an Aston 4th Ward Republican Committeewoman, and serves on the Delaware County Women’s Republican Committee. Her service has been recognized with the prestigious Golden Elephant Award. After a 35-year career as a certified pharmacy technician at Pathmark, Bullen remains active in both civic and faith-based life, cherishing her time with her two sons and eight grandchildren. |
